Fleeting Moments

If there were no concept of time
I'd be somewhere I can get lost in a good book.
Time constraints make the real world real
Without time I'd have memories
Instead of replacing what I just saw
With new images.

The days seem to merge into one
No matter how much I do
And how often I try to mix it up a little
Monotony is messing up my groove
Still up to me to give fleeting moments
the attention they deserve.

So here I am, before you
Making this solemn oath
To give these moments
A longer, much needed
Praise and glory it deserves.
Starting now, I end this with a firm goodbye!

Release

This is my sweet surrender
I give in too easily
If I kept it all in
I may never get out in time.

We were given thoughts
So we can share them
We were given mouths
So we can speak of these thoughts.

Why then do some of us
Keep it all inside
I want to find out
But I may never know.

I release myself from this
Utter my first thought
I'll tell you a secret
I'm not thinking right now.

How's that for a Saturday? So far... I've been doing a lot of thinking and relating those thoughts into feelings, I can't just shrug everything off all the time, I'd explode... and what a mess that would be. Peace. (or should I say pieces, hehehe)
